What is Stromal Vascular Fraction (SVF)?

Fat or adipose tissue is an ideal material in that it is ready to use, natural and does not cause immunological reactions in autologous use.

SVF is a cocktail of adipose tissue-derived cells and includes mesenchymal stem cells (2-4%), multipotent progenitors (adipose tissue-derived stem cells), endothelial progenitor cells, leukocytes, mature endothelial cells, and vascular smooth muscle cells. These cells encourage the levels of growth factors to rise, create a regeneration effect where they are applied, and ensure the formation and continuity of new blood vessels. SVF, which can only be used as autologous, can be prepared from the animal's own fat tissue (at least 20 ml) in as little as 1 hour and can be applied locally to the areas where tissue regeneration is desired.

In Which Diseases Stromal Vascular Fraction (SVF) is Used for Treatment?

20 ml of adipose (fat) tissue to be taken from a sick cat or dog is processed in STEMANIMA laboratories, and a regenerative cell cocktail rich in stem and progenitor cells is prepared in approximately 1 hour and presented to veterinarians in a ready-to-use form.

The SVF product is generally used in the treatment of the following diseases;

  • Tendon injuries and tendinitis/tendinosis problems
  • Joint and cartilage degenerations
  • Rheumatoid Arthritis
  • Wound and burn treatment
  • Repairing old scars
  • Peripheral circulatory failure treatments
